Starboard is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material designed for durability in outdoor, marine, and high-moisture environments. Originally developed for boat construction, it is now widely used for outdoor cabinetry, furniture, and other applications where moisture and weather resistance are essential.

Hardware

Stainless steel is a durable, corrosion-resistant material used in a variety of applications. The numbers 304, 305, and 316 refer to different grades of stainless steel, each with unique properties suited for specific uses:

304 Stainless Steel – This is the most commonly used stainless steel grade, known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and good formability. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is widely used in kitchen equipment, appliances, food processing equipment, and architectural structures.
305 Stainless Steel – This grade is similar to 304, but with a higher nickel content (about 10-13%) which improves its resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in environments where welding or forming is required. It's used in applications like food equipment, hardware, and chemical containers where corrosion resistance is essential.
316 Stainless Steel – This grade contains molybdenum (2-3%), which significantly enhances its resistance to corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments. 316 is highly resistant to rust and pitting and is commonly used in marine environments, chemical processing, medical instruments, and high-end kitchenware.

In summary, 304 is used for most general-purpose applications, 305 for more specialized corrosion-resistant needs, and 316 for environments requiring extreme corrosion resistance, such as marine and medical applications.

Our cabinets come with a base level design, which includes standard cabinets with flat doors—as shown in the sample picture. This base design ensures a clean and modern look at no additional cost.

As you choose to add additional features—such as drawers and tall cabinets—the estimated price of your kitchen may increase. However, flat doors are included at no extra charge. If you prefer custom-made doors with unique designs, profiles, or finishes, there will be an additional cost.
